Today is the birthday of Grandmaster Paulius Pultinevicius, born in Marijampolė, Lithuania, on November 24, 2001.
Paulius placed second at the Lithuanian Championship in 2018 and got his GM title the following year.
Pultinevicius participated in the World Cup in 2019 and reached his peak rating of 2600 Elo points in October 2022.
He's an excellent Blitz player. Paulius has defeated super-GMs such as Caruana, Shirov, Firouzja, Morozevich, and Erigaisi in this category.
